'U.S. Doesn’t Support Taiwan Independence': Biden 'Shocker' After After Anti-China Leader’s Victory

United States President Joe Biden has said that Washington does not support the independence of Taiwan. The remarks could come as a disappointment to Taiwan which just elected an anti-China leader despite warnings by Beijing. The U.S. traditionally doesn’t support independence of Taiwan, however, Biden in May 2022 had said that the U.S. would intervene militarily if China invaded Taiwan.
