Ludhiana: 850 spools of banned plastic string seized, 2 held

600 spools of banned string seized from a grocer, Sahil Singla of Rishi Nagar, in Ashiana Colony; Manish Sondhi was caught travelling with 250 such spools. The sale and storage of plastic kite string is banned as it harms birds, animals besides people.
